Road Safety & Civic Care
School sessions, safety awareness, pothole and signage fixes, and working with authorities to make roads safer for every citizen.

A daughter's memory became a movement. The Arundhati Foundation turns grief into seva — making our roads, schools and communities safer, one kind act at a time.
On 9 September 2014, Dr Arundhati Tambwekar, a young doctor on her way to CMC Vellore, was lost to a road accident. Her parents, Dr Shubhangi and Sanjay Tambwekar, chose not to let sorrow have the last word.
In December 2014 they founded The Arundhati Foundation so that her memory would live "not just in name, but in deed" — in the lives it protects and the people it inspires.
The whole idea is to have zero road fatalities.— Sanjay Tambwekar, Co-founder

Our traditions have always taught that faith is lived through action. Seva is the oldest form of prayer.
Ahimsa is the highest dharma. Preventable harm on our roads is a call to compassion, not just compliance.
Helping others is the path of merit. A pledge, an hour, a donation — each is punya.
May all be happy and safe. A safer India begins with one person who decides to care.
